Electronic speed indication system with fully electronic analog speed indicator with kilometer recorder for four wheeler tower wagons mark-ii, make – samadhan systems, consisting of following:
Modified Axle Box cover with Pulse Disc assembly:
This will be designed, manufactured and supplied to suit axle box of Tower Wagon.
Sealed Non Contact Sensor: This will work in conjunction with the Pulse Disc without any contact,
bearing or brush and will be mounted directly on the Modified axle box cover .The Sensor output will be current loop type.
Connecting Cable: This will consist of cables connecting Sealed Non Contact sensor with the Control unit. Cables will end in connectors, which can be fitted in only one way and the right way only. This will eliminate use of wiring diagram and greatly reduce time required for commissioning and maintenance. This will also eliminate chance of any mistake during commissioning and maintenance. The length of cable will be 5m. (Including Connectors).
Control Unit: This is a rugged enclosure with painting for protection from corrosion. This will house
a) SMPS with inputs & outputs.
b) Control & computing Electronics.
c) Wheel Dia. Inputting facility. (New wheel diameter 762 mm)
d) Electronic Analog Speed indicator as described below.
e) Odometer as described below. The control unit will be suitable for 12V DC. Note: Confirmation of operating voltage of the system must be mentioned clearly at the time of placement of purchase order. Electronic Analog Speed Indicator will come assembled with the control unit. This will be a ONE plus FIFTY point LED display consisting of GREEN & RED LEDs. The power ON indication will be SOFT ORANGE LED. GREEN LEDs will be up to 45 mph and beyond that LEDs will be RED. There will be no needle or delicate spring or jewel bearing. No moving/wear parts. The LED display will be such that all points up to instantaneous speed level will light up, the actual speed showing one having the highest intensity (Comet mode type). Range 0-75kmph. Effective Range 5% to 100% of
FSD. Accuracy 2% of FSD as per RDSO Specification MP-0-3700-01.
Kilometer Recorder will come assembled with the control unit. In Cab-I. This will be a six digit kilometer recorder, recording total kilometer. The digits will be seven segment type LED display. This will be housed in the indicator in the Control unit. The Kilometer Recorder will normally remain blank to save energy but can be viewed by pressing a switch. It will also be possible to reset the odometer to ZERO by pressing a switch combination under locked cover.
Meter Cable for Cab-II: This also will have connectors at both ends for reasons explained in the preceding paragraph. This cable will connect the Electronic Analog speed indicator with the Control Unit. The length of cable will be 12m. (Including Connectors).
Electronic Analog Speed Indicator for Cab-II: This will be housed in a rugged enclosure which will fit in the cut-out for standard GE meters. This will be connected through meter cable with the Control Unit. This will be a ONE plus FIFTY point LED display consisting of GREEN & RED LEDs. The power ON indication will be SOFT ORANGE LED. GREEN LEDs will be up to 45 kmph and beyond that LEDs will be RED. There will be no needle or delicate spring or jewel bearing. No moving/wear parts.
