The Chief Executive of the Company is a graduate engineer with Management qualification and extensive experience in high-tech design and execution of such projects. The first order which was a special speed indicator with accuracy of ±0.1 mm/ sec for usage in the largest Extrusion Press in Asia was executed for Ordnance Factory, Ambajhari, Nagpur.
Samadhan started developing sophisticated Electronic products for Indian Railways since 1990. For the first time in India Driveless Electronic Speedometer without any contact with the axle and no wear parts were designed. Since then Samadhan has designed, developed and indigenously manufactured Siamese twin solid- state memory Speed- Distance- Time- Date recording system which did not require any paper roll and much better resolution. Speed Sensors for imported ASEA/ Hitachi locomotives were also successfully designed, developed and manufactured by Samadhan Systems.
The Engineers of Samadhan Systems were the first to develop Electronic Analog Load Ammeter for ALCo locomotives. The needle with other moving parts that caused wear and tear was replaced by a series of LEDs. These LEDs glow in comet mode which not only saves energy but gives a better visibility also. DLW awarded Part- I status for Electronic Load Ammeter. Samadhan also invented 25kV AC OHE Power Presence/ Absence Indication System for Electric locomotives. This design of non- contact type equipment helps the driver to ascertain the presence of OHE Power without raising the Pantograph. CLW has awarded Samadhan a Part- I supplier for this item in 2006.
Currently we are developing a 110 V/ 24 V & 110 V/ 48 V DC- DC Converters and Isolation transducers (240 V AC to 10 V DC) for 3- phase electric locomotives
